HCA Healthcare is looking for an experienced Sleep Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The Sleep Technologist will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, as well as ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care. This position requires strong communication and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work independently. If you are a highly motivated individual who is passionate about helping people, then this job may be right for you.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related field, such as respiratory therapy or sleep technology. Additionally, the Sleep Technologist should have current certification from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) and/or the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST). The Sleep Technologist will be responsible for conducting accurate assessments, providing patient education, and ensuring that all patient data is collected accurately and efficiently.We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, an ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities of a Sleep Technologist: • Diagnose and treat sleep disorders in patients • Monitor and evaluate patient data to ensure accuracy and efficiency • Provide patient education and instruction on sleep disorder management • Work independently or as part of a healthcare team • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations • Maintain current certification from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) and/or the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) • Prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner • Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent service to patients • Maintain accurate records and document patient data accordingly • Maintain and update knowledge of new sleep technology
