  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the organization's electronic health record system.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert for the EHR system and stay updated on any changes or updates.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address any system issues or enhancements.
  4. Mentor and train junior support analysts on the EHR system and best practices for providing customer service.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation, manuals, and training materials for the EHR system.
  6. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve any potential issues.
  7. Communicate with end-users to understand their needs and provide timely and effective solutions.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in EHR support and make recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure smooth integration and functioning of the EHR system.
  10. Participate in system testing and implementation of upgrades and new features.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and security protocols.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of satisfaction among end-users.
  13. Attend training and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Act as a liaison between end-users and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems: A Senior Ehr Support Analyst At Hca Healthcare Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Various Ehr Systems, Such As Epic, Cerner, Or Allscripts. This Includes Knowledge Of System Architecture, Workflows, And Data Management.

  • Experience In Ehr Implementation And Support: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Implementing And Supporting Ehr Systems In A Healthcare Setting. This Includes Experience In System Upgrades, Troubleshooting, And Providing End-User Support.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Ehr Support Analyst, One Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Issues And Develop Effective Solutions. This Requires Strong Critical Thinking Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Problems.

  • Project Management Experience: Hca Healthcare Values Candidates Who Have Experience In Managing And Coordinating Ehr Projects. This Includes Creating Project Plans, Setting Timelines, And Ensuring Project Deliverables Are Met Within Budget And Scope.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Senior Ehr Support Analyst Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Clinicians, It Teams, And Management. They Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment To Achieve Common Goals And Objectives.
