  1. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in all areas of the facility, including patient rooms, waiting areas, and common spaces.
  2. Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  3. Monitor and restock supplies, such as cleaning products and toiletries, to ensure availability at all times.
  4. Adhere to infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of illnesses and infections.
  5. Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and address any areas in need of attention.
  6. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Respond promptly to any cleaning or sanitation requests from patients or staff.
  8. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing cleaning duties.
  10. Attend training sessions and stay updated on the latest cleaning and sanitation techniques and protocols.
  11. Uphold the mission and values of HCA Healthcare by providing compassionate and high-quality service to patients and staff.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: Sanitation Assistants May Be Required To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Such As Furniture And Equipment, As Part Of Their Duties. Therefore, Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects Are Important Qualifications For This Job.
