2. Lead process improvement initiatives to support revenue integrity and financial goals.
3. Monitor coding changes, reimbursement policies, and payer contracts for updates and potential risks.
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with billing, coding, and reimbursement regulations.
5. Identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of all charge capture, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes.
7. Monitor and audit coding and billing data for accuracy and compliance.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient revenue cycle operations.
9. Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding billing, coding, and reimbursement.
10. Provide training and education to staff on charge capture, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes.
