Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Revenue Integrity team as an Auditor. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization is operating ethically and efficiently by conducting audits and identifying potential revenue discrepancies.   1. Conduct audits of medical records, billing, and coding to identify potential revenue discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers, revenue cycle teams, and other stakeholders to gather information for audits and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Analyze data and financial reports to identify trends and patterns that may indicate potential issues or areas for improvement.
  4. Utilize knowledge of healthcare billing and coding regulations to ensure accurate and ethical practices are being followed.
  5. Document audit findings and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
  6. Communicate audit results and recommendations to relevant departments and provide training or guidance as needed.
  7. Stay up-to-date on changes in healthcare regulations and industry best practices related to revenue integrity.
  8. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to revenue integrity and process improvement.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the Revenue Integrity team to develop and implement strategies for maximizing revenue and minimizing compliance risks.
  10. Uphold the organization's values and ethical standards in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve audit processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Serve as a resource for colleagues and provide support and guidance on revenue integrity-related matters.
  15. Embrace a collaborative and team-oriented approach to achieving department goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Or Revenue Integrity

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Reimbursement Methodologies, Including Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Payers

  • Proficient In Data Analysis And Reporting, With Experience Using Revenue Cycle Software And Electronic Health Record Systems

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Provide Education On Revenue Integrity Processes And Best Practices.
