
Rehab Patient Care Technician

- Provide compassionate and individualized care to patients in the rehabilitation unit.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help patients with mobility and transfer techniques as needed.
- Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure all patient needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, following all infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with the set-up and implementation of therapeutic activities for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and respect their privacy.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Display a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with others.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of patient rights and responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Candidate For The Rehab Patient Care Technician Position At Hca Healthcare Should Possess A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Educational Qualification.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Hca Healthcare Prefers Candidates Who Have Completed A State-Approved Cna Program And Hold A Valid Certification.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Prior Experience In A Clinical Or Rehabilitation Setting Will Be Preferred For The Position.
Ability To Perform Physical Tasks: The Job Of A Rehab Patient Care Technician Involves Assisting Patients With Mobility, Transfers, And Other Physical Tasks. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess The Physical Strength And Dexterity To Perform These Tasks.
