Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial role in preventing and managing infections within our healthcare facilities.   1. Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures for the healthcare facility in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular infection control risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and patterns and develop strategies to prevent and control infections.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to educate and train on best practices for infection control and prevention.
  5. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulations by conducting regular inspections and providing guidance and support to staff.
  6. Act as a resource and liaison for infection control-related inquiries and concerns from patients, families, and staff.
  7. Serve as a member of the infection control committee and participate in the development and implementation of infection control initiatives.
  8. Stay updated on current infection control practices, guidelines, and emerging infectious diseases to proactively address potential risks.
  9. Coordinate and facilitate infection control-related training and education programs for staff and patients.
  10. Assist in the investigation and management of suspected or confirmed infections within the healthcare facility.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare facilities and public health agencies to share information and best practices for infection control.
  12. Communicate infection control updates and initiatives to staff and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding and compliance.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to infection control activities and outcomes.
  14. Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance infection prevention and control processes.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and promote a culture of infection control throughout the healthcare facility.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Current And Active Registered Nurse License

  • Certification In Infection Control (Cic)

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Experience In An Acute Care Setting

  • Knowledge Of Infection Control Practices, Policies, And Regulatory Requirements.
