Job Description

At HCA Healthcare we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing software test plans and analyzing test results. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong technical background.The ideal candidate for this position should have a solid understanding of software development, testing, and quality assurance processes and be able to develop and maintain QA strategies. You must also have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and be able to work with a range of stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.The successful QA Engineer will be a team player, have strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about software quality and is motivated to take ownership of projects.Required qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related field• Expertise in software development life cycle processes, test planning, test execution, and defect management• Proficiency in automated testing, scripting, and coding• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute software test plans and analyze test results.
  2. Develop and maintain QA strategies.
  3. Utilize software development life cycle processes, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
  4. Execute automated testing, scripting, and coding.
  5. Identify, troubleshoot, and debug software issues.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  7. Meet project deadlines.
  8. Document and report test results.
  9. Ensure quality assurance goals are met.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
