Preconstruction Senior Manager

We are looking for an experienced Preconstruction Senior Manager to join our team at HCA Healthcare to help drive our construction projects forward. Our ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for leading successful construction projects. The Preconstruction Senior Manager should have a comprehensive understanding of the preconstruction process, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of preconstruction experience, preferably in healthcare or similar industries. Knowledge of and experience with construction regulations, cost estimating, and client relations is essential to this role. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is required, as well as certifications in Project Management and/or Construction Management.We’re looking for someone motivated to join our team and help guide our projects to completion, while adhering to our standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the preconstruction process from concept to completion for projects within the healthcare industry;
2. Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and work plans;
3. Monitor job costs and provide estimates for change orders;
4. Coordinate activities between clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders;
5. Prepare requests for proposals and manage the bidding process;
6. Facilitate client meetings and ensure all project specifications are met;
7. Manage project closeout process and ensure compliance to all codes and regulations;
8. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the preconstruction team;
9. Maintain organized project files and records;
10. Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures;
11. Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the preconstruction team.
