
Phlebotomist
HCA Healthcare is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. We are looking for a professional with extensive knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and exceptional interpersonal skills. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for accurately collecting patient specimens and providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate must possess an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or a related field, have excellent communication skills, and be highly organized. A certification in Phlebotomy is preferred, but not required. If you are passionate about delivering optimal quality of service to patients and have the necessary qualifications, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Collect patient specimens accurately and efficiently using proper phlebotomy techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure specimens are properly labeled and stored.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Monitor patient comfort and well-being during the collection process.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Keep up to date with current phlebotomy techniques and best practices.
