  2. Remain vigilant for any potential safety hazards or risks and take immediate action to prevent accidents or injuries.
  3. Comply with all hospital safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
  4. Document and report any changes in patient behavior or condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  5. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients who may be feeling anxious or distressed.
  6. Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, bathing, and using the restroom, while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
  7. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on patient safety practices and procedures.
  10. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in potentially stressful situations and handle them with sensitivity and empathy.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and privacy.
  12. Keep accurate and thorough records of patient observations and interactions.
  13. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: A Patient Safety Attendant At Hca Healthcare Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Hospital Or Other Healthcare Facility. This Experience Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Healthcare Environment And Can Handle The Demands And Challenges Of The Role.

  • Cpr And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: In Case Of An Emergency, A Patient Safety Attendant Should Be Able To Provide Immediate Assistance. Having A Current Cpr And Bls Certification Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Trained And Capable Of Handling Any Critical Situations That May Arise.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Patient Safety Attendant, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Family Members, And Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For Effectively Communicating With All Parties And Ensuring Patient Safety And Well-Being.

  • Attention To Detail: Patient Safety Is Of Utmost Importance In Any Healthcare Setting. A Patient Safety Attendant Should Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Recognize Any Potential Hazards Or Changes In A Patient's Condition. This Will Help Prevent Accidents Or Injuries And Ensure Timely Intervention If Needed.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment: The Healthcare Industry Can Be Fast-Paced And Stressful, And A Patient Safety Attendant Should Be Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job. This Includes Being Able To Multitask, Remain Calm Under Pressure, And Make Quick And Critical Decisions When Necessary.
