OR Supply Chain Technician

1. Manage inventory levels for the Operating Room (OR) and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available for procedures.
2. Monitor supply usage and identify any potential shortages or excesses.
3. Collaborate with OR team members to determine supply needs and make recommendations for supply usage optimization.
4. Place and track supply orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
5. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
6. Receive, unpack, and stock incoming supplies and equipment in designated storage areas.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply storage areas.
8. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply chain operations.
10. Implement and comply with all safety and regulatory protocols related to supply management.
11. Provide training and support to OR team members on proper supply usage and inventory management.
12. Utilize hospital information systems to track and manage supply orders and inventory levels.
13. Generate reports and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supply chain efficiency.
14. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the OR Manager.
