  1. Develop and implement educational programs and training materials for critical care nursing staff.
  2. Conduct orientation and ongoing education for new and existing critical care nurses.
  3. Stay up-to-date on current best practices and evidence-based guidelines in critical care nursing.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and develop educational plans to address them.
  5. Provide support and resources to critical care nurses to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
  7. Mentor and coach critical care nurses to promote their professional growth and development.
  8. Serve as a role model for ethical and compassionate patient care.
  9. Maintain accurate records of education and training activities for compliance purposes.
  10. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and develop plans for improvement.
  11. Communicate with leadership and staff to identify educational needs and develop strategies to meet them.
  12. Serve as a resource for critical care nurses to answer questions and provide guidance on complex patient care issues.
  13. Uphold and promote the mission, vision, and values of HCA Healthcare.
  14. Adhere to all regulatory and accrediting body standards and guidelines.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the quality of education and training provided to critical care nursing staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing With A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Critical Care Nursing.

  • Master's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field, Preferably With A Specialization In Critical Care.

  • Certification In Critical Care Nursing (Ccrn) Preferred.

  • Previous Experience In Teaching Or Precepting In A Critical Care Setting, Or Completion Of A Nurse Educator Program.
