Network Engineer

At HCA Healthcare, we are looking for a Network Engineer who is driven, organized, and has excellent communication skills. We require the Network Engineer to have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in the networking field. The ideal candidate should also have experience with network systems such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and F5.The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and administering network infrastructures, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and security systems. In addition to ensuring the security and reliability of the network, this role will also be responsible for the planning and implementation of new technologies, and working with other teams to help resolve IT related issues. The successful candidate will be a vital part of the IT team, and must be able to provide excellent service to our users.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and administer network infrastructures, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and security systems
2. Ensure the security and reliability of the network
3. Plan and implement new technologies
4. Work with other teams to help resolve IT related issues
5. Provide excellent service to users
6. Troubleshoot networking issues
7. Research and recommend network security solutions
8. Maintain documentation of network configurations
9. Provide technical support to users
10. Keep up to date with new industry technologies and trends
