  1. Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  2. Follow established MRI safety protocols and ensure patient and staff safety at all times.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and protocols for each patient.
  4. Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions for procedures to ensure the best possible images.
  5. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient history, and other relevant information.
  7. Ensure proper functioning of equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  9. Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of MRI technology, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
  10. Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the overall improvement of patient care.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and medical staff to provide exceptional patient care and foster a positive work environment.
  12. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  13. Attend trainings and educational programs to maintain current certification and enhance skills.
  14. Assist with the training and supervision of new MRI Technologists.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Current Certification As A Mri Technologist Through The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Mri Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Proficiency In Operating Mri Equipment And Understanding Of Mri Safety Protocols

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
