  1. Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during MRI procedures.
  3. Review patient medical history and obtain necessary information to perform MRI scans.
  4. Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

  8. Keep up-to-date with new MRI techniques, equipment, and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Mri Technologist: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed An Accredited Training Program And Hold A Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri).

  • Proficient In Mri Technology: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Mri Equipment, Procedures, And Safety Protocols. They Should Also Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues And Maintain The Equipment In Good Working Condition.

  • Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As An Mri Technologist, The Candidate Will Have To Interact With Patients Of Diverse Backgrounds And Medical Conditions. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Establish A Rapport With Patients And Make Them Feel Comfortable During The Procedure.

  • Attention To Detail: An Mri Technologist Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Position Patients, Set The Appropriate Scan Parameters, And Capture High-Quality Images For The Radiologists To Interpret. They Should Also Possess The Ability To Identify Any Abnormalities Or Artifacts In The Images For Further Evaluation.
