  1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
  4. Maintain patient records and update information as needed.
  5. Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments from patients.
  6. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate medical documentation.
  7. Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
  8. Monitor and maintain office supplies, ensuring that inventory is well-stocked at all times.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the medical office.
  10. Adhere to all HIPAA and medical office policies and procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
  12. Handle patient inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Medical Office Specialist Program Or Equivalent Education And Training In Medical Terminology, Insurance Billing, And Electronic Health Records.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Medical Office Or Hospital Environment.
