  1. Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, greeting them with a warm and professional demeanor.
  2. Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  3. Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  5. Handle billing and payment processes, including collecting copays and processing insurance claims.
  6. Keep medical office supplies stocked and organized, ordering new supplies as needed.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including waiting room and exam rooms.
  8. Assist medical staff with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  9. Communicate with other departments within the healthcare facility to coordinate patient care.
  10. Handle patient inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating any issues to the appropriate parties.
  11. Collaborate with other medical office coordinators to ensure consistent processes and procedures are being followed.
  12. Participate in training and development opportunities to stay informed on healthcare industry regulations and best practices.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  14. Continuously strive to improve office efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager or healthcare facility leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Medical Office Setting, Preferably In A Supervisory Or Coordination Role.

  • Proficient In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Medical Billing Software.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Billing Procedures, Including Medicare And Medicaid Regulations.
