  1. Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently to aid in patient diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention.
  2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  3. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the laboratory.
  4. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  5. Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies.
  7. Follow standard operating procedures and protocols for all laboratory tests and procedures.
  8. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results.
  11. Follow established quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  12. Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during testing or equipment operation.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvements.
  14. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in laboratory technology and procedures.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Adhere to all HCA Healthcare policies and procedures.
  17. Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.
  18. Provide support and training to new laboratory staff as needed.
  19. Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory tests and procedures.
  20. Uphold HCA Healthcare's mission, values, and standards of behavior.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician From A Recognized Organization, Such As Ascp Or Amt.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Quality Control Measures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Communicate With Healthcare Professionals.
