Functional Test Analyst

The successful candidate will have strong technical and communication skills and be able to quickly and effectively assess and troubleshoot any issues that arise.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in functional testing and a comprehensive understanding of software systems, including experience with either manual or automated testing. A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive functional testing strategies and plans for HCA Healthcare applications.
2. Analyze, evaluate, and document software system requirements and ensure they meet the necessary criteria.
3. Carry out both manual and automated tests to detect and identify any issues or defects in applications.
4. Troubleshoot and debug any identified software system issues and provide solutions to resolve them.
5. Test application performance and scalability to ensure they meet the necessary requirements.
6. Monitor and track bug reports and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
7. Collaborate with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of applications.
8. Maintain and update test plans and test cases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the healthcare field.
10. Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and results.
