- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning products and equipment.
- Monitor and report any potential hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote environmental sustainability.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as needed.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized in a timely and thorough manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on environmental services policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and streamline cleaning processes.
- Follow all infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses and infections.
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and facility information.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Knowledge Of Proper Cleaning And Infection Control Procedures.
Previous Experience In Environmental Services Or Housekeeping.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects.
