- Utilize various recruitment methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to attract top physician candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and other healthcare organizations to source potential candidates.
- Review and screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open physician positions.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate the interview process with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate contract negotiations and assist with onboarding processes for new physicians.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential and current physician candidates for future recruitment needs.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in physician recruitment to continuously improve recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement recruitment campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment activities, including candidate pipeline, time-to-fill, and retention rates.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the organization and its mission to potential candidates.
- Participate in relevant conferences and events to network and promote the organization as an employer of choice for physicians.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to physician recruitment.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and department leaders, to understand their physician staffing needs and provide timely support.
- Mentor and train recruitment team members to ensure the highest level of recruitment standards and practices are upheld.
Extensive Experience In Physician Recruitment: The Ideal Candidate For A Director Physician Recruitment Position At Hca Healthcare Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Physician Recruitment, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Successfully Recruiting Physicians In Various Specialties And Managing The Full Recruitment Cycle.
