  1. Develop and implement effective strategies for physician recruitment to meet the staffing needs of the organization.
  2. Utilize various recruitment methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to attract top physician candidates.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and other healthcare organizations to source potential candidates.
  4. Review and screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open physician positions.
  5. Conduct initial interviews and coordinate the interview process with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
  6. Facilitate contract negotiations and assist with onboarding processes for new physicians.
  7. Develop and maintain a database of potential and current physician candidates for future recruitment needs.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in physician recruitment to continuously improve recruitment processes.
  9. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement recruitment campaigns and initiatives.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment activities, including candidate pipeline, time-to-fill, and retention rates.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional image of the organization and its mission to potential candidates.
  12. Participate in relevant conferences and events to network and promote the organization as an employer of choice for physicians.
  13. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to physician recruitment.
  14. Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and department leaders, to understand their physician staffing needs and provide timely support.
  15. Mentor and train recruitment team members to ensure the highest level of recruitment standards and practices are upheld.

  • Extensive Experience In Physician Recruitment: The Ideal Candidate For A Director Physician Recruitment Position At Hca Healthcare Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Physician Recruitment, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Successfully Recruiting Physicians In Various Specialties And Managing The Full Recruitment Cycle.
