1. Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the facilities management department in alignment with the overall objectives of HCA Healthcare.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all facilities, including but not limited to hospitals, medical offices, and administrative buildings.
3. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines related to facility management, safety, and security.
4. Develop and manage the facilities management budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
5. Lead and manage a team of facilities management professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads, physicians, and other key leaders, to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.
7. Collaborate with other departments, including finance, human resources, and risk management, to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to facilities management, including emergency preparedness and disaster response plans.
9. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
10. Oversee the procurement and management of contracts for facility maintenance, repairs, and construction projects.
11. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in facilities management to continuously improve operations and processes.
12. Ensure a positive and productive work environment for all employees by promoting inclusivity, diversity, and a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
13. Represent HCA Healthcare in a professional and ethical manner, both internally and externally.
14. Prepare and present regular reports on facility operations, performance, and improvements to senior leadership.
15. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the facilities management department.
