  1. Oversee the development and maintenance of strong medical staff teams within the organization.
  2. Lead and manage the credentialing process for all medical staff members.
  3. Ensure that all medical staff members are fully qualified and up-to-date on necessary credentials and certifications.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to uphold regulatory standards and compliance.
  5. Collaborate with various departments, including HR, legal, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of the medical staff into the organization.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of medical staff members and provide guidance and support for improvement.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulatory standards to ensure the organization remains in compliance.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the medical staff and the organization's leadership team.
  9. Provide leadership and guidance to the medical staff services team.
  10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with medical staff members and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations.
  12. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary documentation and reports.
  13. Act as a resource for medical staff members and provide support for any concerns or issues that may arise.
  14. Represent the organization in external meetings and conferences related to medical staff services.
  15. Uphold confidentiality and maintain the integrity of all medical staff records and information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Medical Staff Services, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Certification From The National Association Medical Staff Services (Namss) As A Certified Professional Medical Services Management (Cpmsm) Or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (Cpcs).

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Staff Bylaws, Regulations, And Accreditation Standards.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Medical Staff Services Professionals.
