
Director of Communications
The Director of Communications at HCA Healthcare is a critical position in ensuring that our messaging is effective and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. We are seeking a creative, experienced, and passionate individual who will bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the role. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, along with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field. Experience with media relations, particularly in the healthcare sector, is highly preferred. Additionally, the Director of Communications must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong sense of mission and drive.We are looking for an individual who will be a passionate advocate for HCA Healthcare and who will bring innovative ideas to the table. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategy and plans that support HCA Healthcare's corporate objectives
- Oversee media relations, including developing and maintaining relationships with key reporters and editors
- Manage external communications and public relations activities, including the development of press releases, media briefings, and other content
- Monitor media coverage and trends and provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management
- Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, including government, community, and industry partners
- Develop crisis communications plans and ensure that appropriate responses are provided in a timely manner
- Oversee and coordinate the production of internal and external communications materials
- Develop, implement, and monitor social media and digital marketing campaigns
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communications activities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor team members as needed
