4. Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention best practices.
5. Provide guidance and advice on infection prevention practices to various healthcare departments.
6. Develop and monitor quality improvement initiatives to ensure infection prevention standards are met.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
8. Participate in surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory and accrediting bodies.
9. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements.
10. Mentor and provide leadership to a team of infection prevention staff.
