
Consulting Procurement Specialist
HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consulting Procurement Specialist to join our innovative and rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management and will be passionate about driving cost savings and efficiency. This critical role will be responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities and providing support to stakeholders throughout the organization.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement. They will have a proven track record of successfully leading and managing procurement activities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering results. The successful candidate will be highly organized and have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and creatively. A C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) or APICS designation is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all procurement activities, developing and implementing innovative strategies to ensure cost savings and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, collaborating to identify and address areas of improvement.
- Analyze market trends and develop procurement plans in line with organizational goals.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to maximize cost savings and ensure supplier compliance.
- Monitor the performance of suppliers to ensure quality products and services.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to identify potential cost savings opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present monthly reports to keep stakeholders informed of progress and accomplishments.
- Develop and maintain best practices and procedures for procurement activities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, attending conferences and training sessions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
