We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Consulting Informatics Nurse Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare.   1. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and assess informatics needs and opportunities within the organization.
  2. Utilize extensive knowledge of nursing and informatics to develop and implement solutions that improve healthcare systems and processes.
  3. Analyze data and provide insights to drive informed decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare informatics, staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
  5. Develop and implement training and education programs to promote informatics literacy among healthcare staff.
  6. Lead informatics projects, ensuring their successful completion within established timelines and budgets.
  7. Provide support and guidance to staff in utilizing informatics tools and technologies to improve efficiency and quality of care.
  8. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and partners, to implement new informatics solutions and integrate them into existing systems.
  9. Identify potential areas for improvement in healthcare processes and workflows, and develop and implement solutions to address them.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership to provide updates, recommendations, and progress reports.
  11. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with informatics-related policies and guidelines.
  12. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of informatics solutions.
  13. Mentor and train junior informatics team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  14. Represent the organization in professional conferences, seminars, and other events related to nursing informatics.
  15. Contribute to the organization’s mission and goals by actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing Informatics Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Informatics, Healthcare Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Certification In Nursing Informatics (Rn-Bc) Through The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc).

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations, Including Hipaa, Meaningful Use, And Macra.
