Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our facilities to ensure the security and protection of our data and systems.   1. Develop and implement information security policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats and weaknesses.
  3. Collaborate with facility leaders to establish and maintain a culture of security awareness and compliance.
  4. Provide ongoing education and training to staff on information security protocols and best practices.
  5. Monitor and investigate potential security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
  7. Work closely with IT teams to ensure proper implementation and maintenance of security controls, tools, and systems.
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for all information security-related inquiries and issues for the organization's facilities.
  9. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to evaluate and implement security solutions.
  11. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  12. Prepare and present reports on security metrics, incidents, and improvements to senior leadership.
  13. Lead incident response and remediation efforts in the event of a security breach or incident.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's security posture through proactive measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
  15. Mentor and coach other team members to develop their skills and knowledge in information security.
  16. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information and systems at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Information Security, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Hipaa Regulations And Other Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Healthcare Data Privacy And Security.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Information Security Policies, Procedures, And Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Train Staff On Information Security Best Practices.
