  1. Maintain and update the charge master system to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Analyze and review complex data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the charge master system.
  3. Collaborate with various departments, including finance and coding, to ensure accurate and timely charge capture and billing processes.
  4. Conduct regular audits of the charge master system to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations and ensure that the charge master system is in compliance.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on charge master system and healthcare billing and coding, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  7. Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the charge master system.
  8. Train and educate staff on proper charge capture and billing processes to maintain compliance.
  9. Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system updates and enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  10. Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights and recommendations on improving charge master processes and systems.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  12. Continuously assess and improve charge master processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Charge Master Or Revenue Cycle Management In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Reimbursement Methodologies And Regulations, Including Medicare And Medicaid.

  • Proficiency In Coding Systems Such As Cpt, Hcpcs, And Icd-10.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Coding And Billing Discrepancies.
