  1. Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  2. Provide direct care and treatment to patients as outlined in their treatment plan.
  3. Observe and document patient progress and communicate any changes to the occupational therapist.
  4. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises to promote continued progress and independence.
  5. Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
  8. Continuously assess and modify treatment plans to meet the changing needs of patients.
  9. Stay current on advancements and best practices in occupational therapy to continuously improve patient care.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and patience in working with patients and their families.
  11. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the facility and state licensing board.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary care and improve patient outcomes.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing the facility and HCA Healthcare in a positive light.
  15. Comply with all facility and regulatory standards and guidelines to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution

  • Current State License As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Rehabilitation Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Techniques And Treatments

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team Environment.
