Behavioral Health Therapist

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the field and a passion for helping others.The successful Behavioral Health Therapist will possess the following qualifications: a minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field; licensure or certification in behavioral health; at least two years of experience providing professional counseling services; and a strong understanding of the principles of evidence-based practice. Responsibilities:

1. Provide individual, family, and group therapy to patients and their families.
2. Maintain client confidentiality.
3. Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
4. Advocate for clients in need of additional resources.
5. Prepare and maintain accurate records of services and client progress.
6. Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure the best quality of care.
7. Maintain professional knowledge and development through continuing education and training.
8. Assist in crisis management and interventions when necessary.
9. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
10. Assist with referrals when needed.
