
AVP Accounting and Financial Reporting
At HCA Healthcare, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Accounting and Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will be a strategic and analytical thinker, with a demonstrated ability to think critically and proactively solve problems.The AVP of Accounting and Financial Reporting will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to interpret and explain complex financial information. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting, and a CPA certification. In addition, they must possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Interpret and explain complex financial information.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Prepare and present clear and accurate financial reports.
- Analyze financial information to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Develop and implement financial processes and procedures.
- Monitor financial performance and provide advice on areas of improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
