Anesthesiologist

HCA Healthcare is looking for an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia and related services to patients undergoing medical and/or surgical interventions. This position demands outstanding clinical and operational skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should be board certified or board eligible with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree in Anesthesiology and possess a current, valid license to practice Anesthesiology in the State of employment. Responsibilities:

1. Administer anesthetics to patients undergoing medical and/or surgical interventions.
2. Monitor patients' vital signs during surgical procedures and adjust anesthetic accordingly.
3. Monitor patients’ reactions during procedures and take appropriate action.
4. Provide post-operative care to patients and monitor their recovery from anesthesia.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as surgeons, nurses, and specialists, to ensure optimal patient care.
6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
7. Stay up to date with advances in anesthesia techniques and technology.
8. Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing anesthesia records and filing reports.
9. Educate patients and family members on pre-operative and post-operative care.
10. Participate in medical research and present findings at conferences.
