- Manage financial operations: The Financial & Administrative Analyst will be responsible for managing various financial operations of the university, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis: The analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the university.
- Ensure compliance: The analyst will ensure that all financial activities are in compliance with university policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Handle administrative tasks: The analyst will assist with administrative tasks such as processing invoices, managing contracts, and coordinating meetings.
- Support budget development: The analyst will work closely with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
- Monitor financial performance: The analyst will monitor the university's financial performance and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including department heads, faculty, and staff, to gather information, provide updates, and address any financial or administrative issues.
- Maintain accurate records: The analyst will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and administrative records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities: The analyst will proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to department heads and university leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends: The analyst will stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial and administrative management, implementing new strategies where applicable.
- Deliver presentations: The analyst may be required to deliver presentations to university leadership and stakeholders on financial and administrative matters.
- Train and mentor staff: The analyst may be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

- Handle ad-hoc projects
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Financial Analysis And/Or Budget Management.
Strong Analytical Skills And Proficiency In Financial Modeling And Data Analysis Tools.
Experience With Financial Systems Such As Oracle, Sap, Or Peoplesoft.
Knowledge Of Harvard University's Financial Policies And Procedures Is Preferred.
