  1. Develop and implement human resources strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of Harvard University.
  2. Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the department's success.
  3. Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the university attracts and hires top-quality candidates.
  4. Develop and maintain effective performance management systems to support employee development and growth.
  5. Collaborate with university leaders to develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives that promote a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  7. Develop and monitor HR metrics to track the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  8. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  10. Oversee the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement employee training and development programs.
  12. Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on human resources matters.
  13. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  14. Promote a positive and inclusive work culture that aligns with the university's values and mission.
  15. Represent the university in HR-related matters internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Human Resources Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Advanced Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Hr Strategies And Programs.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor Laws And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Collective Bargaining Agreements.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team, As Well As Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Across The University.
