  1. Plan and oversee all aspects of banquet and special event catering, including menu development, food preparation, and service execution.
  2. Collaborate with event coordinators and other staff to ensure seamless and successful events.
  3. Create innovative and high-quality dishes that meet the needs and preferences of our diverse clientele.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  5. Train and supervise a team of culinary professionals to execute banquets and events to the highest standard.
  6. Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure that all ingredients are fresh and readily available.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and flavors into menu development.
  8. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and professional growth.
  9. Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner and meets the highest quality standards.
  10. Handle any customer concerns with prompt and professional resolution.
  11. Work closely with the dining services team to maintain consistency and quality across all dining experiences at Harvard University.
  12. Adhere to budget guidelines and maintain cost control measures.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve banquet and event services to meet the evolving needs of our community.
