  1. Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent to Harvard University.
  2. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and create job postings.
  3. Conduct thorough and effective recruitment processes to attract and select highly qualified candidates.
  4. Oversee the onboarding and orientation process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
  5. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and selecting candidates.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and organizations to expand the candidate pool.
  7. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  8. Develop and maintain effective employee retention programs and initiatives.
  9. Provide training and development opportunities for current employees to support their career growth and advancement.
  10. Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  11. Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in employee retention.
  12. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and divisions within Harvard University to support the overall mission and goals.
  14. Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
  15. Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and stakeholders, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
  16. Handle any employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner.
  17. Collaborate with the Director of HR to develop and manage the division's budget.
  18. Participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and events to stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
  19. Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures to support the division's mission and goals.
  20. Represent the HR division in meetings and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
