  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of all campus facilities at Harvard University.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for maintaining and improving the overall functioning of the university's facilities.
  3. Ensure all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with local and national regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address any facilities-related issues.
  5. Manage and allocate resources, including budget and personnel, to effectively maintain and operate the facilities.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources.
  7. Monitor and analyze facilities data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for action.
  8. Lead and supervise a team of facility staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  9. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate facilities-related projects and activities.
  10. Serve as a point of contact for any facilities-related inquiries and address any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in facilities management to continuously improve the university's operations.
  12. Uphold the university's values and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  13. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to facilities management.
  14. Represent the university at meetings, events, and conferences related to facilities management.
  15. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Facilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role In Facilities Management

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Maintenance Best Practices

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills

  • Experience Working In A Complex And Diverse Organization, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
