Job Description

At H&R Block, we are looking for an experienced Software/Data Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for a passionate problem-solver who loves to work with data. The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field. They must also have strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically.We are looking for an individual who is excited to innovate and collaborate with other members of the engineering team. The Software/Data Engineer will be held to a high standard and will be expected to develop and maintain data-driven applications. A successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow.The qualifications we require for this position include: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field; and the ability to write efficient and maintainable code. We are also looking for someone with experience in DevOps, Cloud, and Big Data technologies.
