
Field Telecom Technician

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with telecommunication systems in a timely manner.
- Provide on-site technical support to H&R Block offices across the country.
- Install and maintain telecommunication equipment, including phones, routers, and switches.
- Collaborate with other technicians and IT teams to ensure smooth communication and connectivity across all H&R Block offices.
- Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Train and educate H&R Block employees on telecommunication systems and processes.
- Keep abreast of new telecommunication technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate inventory of telecommunication equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry best practices, for data security and privacy.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing exceptional customer service.
- Travel to different locations as needed to provide technical support.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date on all company updates and changes to telecommunication systems.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall functionality of telecommunication systems.
Experience With Telecommunication Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Various Telecommunication Systems, Such As Pbx, Voip, And Mobile Devices. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Networking Principles And Protocols.
Knowledge Of Troubleshooting Techniques: A Field Telecom Technician Should Be Able To Quickly Diagnose And Resolve Issues With Telecommunication Systems. They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Troubleshooting Techniques And Be Able To Work Independently To Resolve Problems.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Field Telecom Technician, The Candidate Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Be Able To Explain Technical Concepts In Simple Terms And Provide Clear Instructions To Users.
Familiarity With H&R Block Systems: It Is Preferred That The Candidate Has Prior Experience Working With H&R Block Systems And Software. This Will Help Them Understand The Specific Telecommunication Needs And Requirements Of The Company.
