- Maintain and troubleshoot advanced telecommunications systems to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and system backups, to ensure optimal functioning of the telecommunications infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to telecommunications systems, including internet connectivity, phone lines, and hardware malfunctions.
- Upgrade and install new telecommunications equipment and software as needed to keep up with industry standards and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement solutions to improve the overall performance of the telecommunications systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders by promptly addressing any telecommunications-related concerns or requests.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of all telecommunications processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in telecommunications technology and make recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members on telecommunications systems and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and legal requirements related to telecommunications.
Knowledge Of Telecommunications Equipment: A Qualified Field Telecom Technician At H&R Block Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Telecommunications Equipment, Such As Switches, Routers, And Cabling Systems, And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Repair Any Issues That May Arise.
Experience With Voice And Data Networks: As H&R Block Operates A Large Network Of Offices And Data Centers, A Field Telecom Technician Should Have Experience In Managing And Maintaining Both Voice And Data Networks, Including Knowledge Of Voip, Mpls, And Lan/Wan Protocols.
Technical Certifications: H&R Block May Require Its Field Telecom Technicians To Hold Relevant Technical Certifications, Such As Cisco Certified Network Associate (Ccna) Or Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (Ctns), To Demonstrate Their Expertise In The Field.
Problem-Solving Skills: Field Telecom Technicians At H&R Block Should Be Able To Quickly And Effectively Troubleshoot And Resolve Any Technical Issues That May Arise, Using Their Knowledge And Experience To Identify The Root Cause And Implement Appropriate Solutions.
Customer Service Skills: As A Field Telecom Technician Will Be Interacting With H&R Block Employees And Clients On A Regular Basis, Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Explain Technical Concepts In Layman's Terms And Provide Excellent Support To Users.
