  1. Provide on-site technical support for all communication systems used by H&R Block.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
  3. Install and configure new communication equipment as needed.
  4. Monitor and maintain the performance and efficiency of communication systems.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to implement updates and upgrades to communication systems.
  6. Conduct regular maintenance and preventative measures to ensure the reliability of communication systems.
  7. Create and maintain documentation of communication systems and procedures.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in communication technology.
  9. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for security and privacy.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to all employees and clients by promptly addressing their technical needs.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to provide updates and resolutions.
  12. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
  13. Train and educate employees on proper usage of communication systems.
  14. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of communication systems.
  15. Travel to various H&R Block locations to provide on-site support as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position, As It Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge.

  • Technical Training Or Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed Technical Training Or Possess Relevant Certifications In The Field Of Telecommunications, Such As Comptia Network+ Or Cisco Certified Network Associate (Ccna).

  • Previous Experience In Telecommunication Installation And Maintenance: A Strong Background In Telecommunication Installation And Maintenance Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Various Telecom Equipment And Systems, Such As Routers, Switches, And Cabling.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Quickly And Efficiently Is A Crucial Skill For A Field Telecom Technician. Candidates Should Be Able To Think Critically And Use Their Technical Knowledge To Identify And Solve Complex Problems.
