  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of company facilities and equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any problems or deficiencies to management.
  5. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services.
  6. Monitor and order necessary supplies and equipment for maintenance tasks.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety and building codes and regulations.
  8. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance activities and potential concerns.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  11. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
  12. Assist with special projects and tasks related to facilities maintenance as assigned.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on new maintenance techniques and technologies.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Building Maintenance: A Facilities Maintenance Technician At H&R Block Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In General Building Maintenance, Including Electrical, Plumbing, And Hvac Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: As A Maintenance Technician, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations To Ensure The Safety Of Employees And Clients At All Times.
