- Greet and welcome customers to H&M in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and meeting the needs of customers.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current fashion trends and H&M products to assist customers with their purchases.
- Actively engage with customers to promote and sell H&M products.
- Maintain the appearance of the store by ensuring all products are neatly displayed and shelves are stocked.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and create a positive work environment.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking new merchandise, as well as restocking and replenishing products on the sales floor.
- Effectively handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and provide feedback to management on customer preferences and trends.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and participate in training programs to enhance sales skills.
- Act as a brand ambassador for H&M by embodying the company's values and promoting a positive image.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management team.
Retail Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In Fashion Or Clothing, Is A Key Qualification For A Verkoopmedewerker Job At H&M. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of Customer Service, Product Knowledge, And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Retail Setting.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Verkoopmedewerker Must Have Excellent Verbal Communication Skills In Both Dutch And English. This Includes The Ability To Engage With Customers, Provide Product Information, And Handle Any Customer Inquiries Or Complaints In A Professional And Effective Manner.
Fashion Knowledge: H&M Is A Fashion-Forward Brand, So A Verkoopmedewerker Must Have A Good Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends, Styles, And The H&M Brand. This Knowledge Will Help The Employee Provide Fashion Advice To Customers And Assist Them In Finding The Perfect Outfit.
