Job Description

H&M is looking for an experienced and organized Stores Department Manager to join our team and drive the success of our stores. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, have a keen eye for detail, and a desire to lead and motivate a team.The Stores Department Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the stores, including overseeing staff, inventory, sales, customer relations, and overall store performance. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of retail operations and management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving results.Required qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in a management role• Proven track record of success in driving sales and profitability• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to lead and motivate a team• Working knowledge of POS systems and retail softwareIf you have the qualifications and the drive to succeed in this role, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores, including overseeing staff, inventory, sales, customer relations, and overall store performance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and store profitability.
  3. Monitor store performance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Train, motivate, and coach store staff to achieve maximum performance.
  6. Analyze sales data and develop action plans to increase sales.
  7. Oversee the ordering and stocking of merchandise.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  9. Manage store budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  10. Monitor store security and safety standards.
