Job Description

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, driving sales and profitability, and creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers.   1. Oversee all aspects of the store's operations, including but not limited to sales, inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  2. Drive sales and profitability by setting and achieving store targets and implementing effective sales strategies.
  3. Create a positive and memorable shopping experience for customers by ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment.
  4. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve individual and store goals.
  5. Train and develop employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  6. Monitor and analyze store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  7. Maintain a high level of visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to inventory management, cash handling, and safety protocols.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  10. Collaborate with other store managers and head office to share best practices and contribute to overall company success.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity in order to make informed business decisions.
  12. Mentor and develop future leaders within the company.
  13. Ensure the store is always fully staffed and schedule employees according to business needs.
  14. Handle any customer complaints or issues with professionalism and in a timely manner.
  15. Uphold the company's values and represent the brand in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing A Retail Store, Preferably In The Fashion Industry. This Includes Experience In Overseeing Sales, Managing Inventory, And Leading A Team.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Store Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Motivating A Team Of Employees. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential To Effectively Manage The Store And Ensure A Positive Work Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Fashion And Trends: H&M Is A Fashion-Forward Brand, And The Store Manager Should Have A Good Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And Styles. This Includes Knowledge Of The Brand's Products, As Well As The Ability To Curate And Display Merchandise In An Appealing Manner.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Providing Exceptional Customer Service Is A Top Priority At H&M. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Passion For Delivering Excellent Service And Be Able To Train And Guide Their Team To Do The Same.

  • Strong Business Acumen: A Successful Store Manager Should Have A Good Understanding Of Business Operations And Be Able To Make Strategic Decisions To Drive Sales And Increase Profits. This Includes Knowledge Of Budgeting, Inventory Management, And Analyzing Sales Reports.
