- Develop and implement regional energy and sustainability strategies that align with the company's overall sustainability goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption data across all regional operations and identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive energy efficiency initiatives and promote sustainable practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and innovations related to energy and sustainability to inform decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with energy management and sustainability policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to regional teams to promote energy conservation and sustainability practices.
- Identify and establish partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders to advance the company's sustainability efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional energy providers to negotiate favorable contracts and pricing.
- Communicate progress and results of energy and sustainability initiatives to upper management and stakeholders.
- Lead and manage projects related to energy management and sustainability, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events to share best practices and stay informed on emerging trends.
- Continuously evaluate and improve energy and sustainability programs to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of sustainability and energy consciousness within the company by engaging and motivating employees at all levels.
- Provide guidance and support to regional teams on implementing sustainable practices and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the corporate sustainability team to ensure regional initiatives align with the company's overall sustainability strategy and goals.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Sustainability, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Sustainability Or Energy Management, Preferably In The Retail Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Renewable Energy Sources, Energy Efficiency, And Sustainable Practices.
Excellent Project Management Skills With The Ability To Lead And Implement Sustainability Initiatives.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
