Job Description

At H&M, we are looking for an exceptional Inventory Planner to join our team and spearhead our inventory management process. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced professional who demonstrates a keen understanding of inventory planning and management, a strong analytical mindset, and an eye for detail.As our Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for developing strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and maximize profitability. You will be a leader in overseeing the planning and execution of all inventory-related activities and will be expected to maintain accurate records of stock and ensure the timely replenishment of inventory.To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. You should also have the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines. Additionally, you should possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory planning and management• Proven track record of driving cost savings and inventory optimization• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and forecasting models• Strong knowledge of the retail industry and supply chain managementIf you are an analytical, detail-oriented individual with a passion for inventory management, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities of an Inventory Planner:

  • Develop strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and maximize profitability
  • Oversee planning and execution of all inventory-related activities
  • Maintain accurate records of stock and ensure timely replenishment of inventory
  • Analyze sales trends to forecast future inventory needs
  • Monitor inventory levels and stock availability
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure efficient supply chain management
  • Manage inventory budget and ensure cost savings
  • Utilize ERP systems and forecasting models for inventory management
  • Monitor inventory performance and suggest improvements
  • Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely fulfillment of orders
  • Develop reports and metrics to measure inventory performance
