  1. Manage and lead a team of sales associates to ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
  2. Create and maintain a positive and motivating work environment for the team.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet sales targets.
  4. Train and onboard new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development for current staff.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales and customer data to make informed decisions and adjustments to improve performance.
  6. Ensure that the store is visually appealing and merchandise is displayed according to company standards.
  7. Communicate effectively with other departments and upper management to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  10. Stay updated on current fashion trends and product knowledge to provide exceptional service to customers.
  11. Handle customer complaints and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  13. Collaborate with the store management team to develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies.
  14. Participate in the hiring process for new team members.
  15. Adhere to all company guidelines and standards for ethical and professional behavior.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Management Experience: A Department Manager At H&M Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Team And Achieving Sales Goals. Prior Experience In A Retail Or Fashion Environment Is Preferred.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Someone Who Can Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Make Decisions In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Retail Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Department Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Employees And Customers, So Strong Communication Skills Are Essential. They Should Also Be Able To Build And Maintain Positive Relationships With Team Members And Customers.

  • Knowledge Of Fashion And Current Trends: H&M Is A Fashion-Forward Brand, And The Department Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And The Ability To Incorporate Them Into Merchandise Displays And Customer Interactions.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Augusta Mall Location Is A High-Traffic Store, And The Department Manager Should Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced, Ever-Changing Environment. They Should Be Able To Multitask, Prioritize Tasks, And Handle Pressure With Ease.
